Community Initiatives

Nationally, RSM contributes to several CSR initiatives including supporting charities, actively participating in community events, and providing pro bono services.

We also run a program called Camp Coin - Bringing financial smarts to classrooms and home. 

Financial skills are crucial at all life stages, especially in a digital age where cash usage is decreasing. Discussing the history and value of money is now more vital than ever. Our program, led by accountants and financial advisers, focuses on primary school children, serving as a community outreach and brand awareness initiative.

Pro Bono Work

We strongly believe in supporting those that work for the public good in our community, who are reliant upon funds and donations. We do this by providing business services without charge or reduced fee basis. 

Our Graduate Program

Through our Graduate Program, RSM invests in your career early by equipping you with a combination of core skills and technical skills, to kick start your career as a business professional. As a Graduate at RSM, you will take part in our structured 12-month Program, myGRAD Journey.

Journey, beginning with our iconic Grad COLAB!

COLAB is the start of your journey at RSM, graduates get together for two action packed days of professional development, technical training, collaboration, and networking! COLAB forms part of our 12-month Grad Development Program ‘myGRAD Journey’, where you will learn more about yourself, your cohort, the firm, and our values! You will have the opportunity to network with Graduates from around the country, engage with Partners and build your personal and professional skills.

Our Undergraduate Program

Our Undergraduate Program offers you paid full-time or part-time employment to gain practical experience while completing your degree at university. This program could put you ahead of the rest and give you a head start with on-the-job training, helping you to hit the ground running in the early stages of your career. A great opportunity to further develop your skills and gain relevant industry experience!

Our Vacation Program

Our Vacation Program is an opportunity for you to get a head start on your accounting career by putting your theory into practice in a supportive environment. RSM’s Vacation Program involves up to 4-8 weeks of paid employment to gain practical experience during your university Summer and Winter semester breaks. 

A Vacation placement with us gives you the opportunity to experience firsthand who we are and what we do. As a valued member of our team, you will experience support from your peers, work on a diverse range of tasks, and have access to senior leaders who will guide and mentor you along the way!

Recruitment Process

Recruitment Process

At RSM, we are committed to making our recruitment process as straightforward as possible

  1. Online Application
    Prepare to apply through our portal by submitting your Resume, Cover Letter and Academic Transcript. All applications will be reviewed; thus, expect an update approximately within one month of submitting your application.
     
  2. Digital Interview (timed setting)
    This is the stage where you will be asked questions in a timed setting to help us get to know you and understand why you’re interested in joining RSM. The video interview will be conducted by an automated system. 
     
  3. Online Cognitive Test (timed setting) 
    At this stage, you will be sent a Cognitive test comprising verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning. This is a multiple choice assessment that takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. 
     
  4. Assessment Centre
    This is where we would love to see you bring your problem-solving skills, analytical skills and teamwork attitude come to life! 

    You will be put in a group setting to complete a case study assessment. There will be an opportunity for you to also meet with senior business representatives and recent graduates where they will share their experience. 
     
  5. In-person interview 
    Congratulations, this is the final stage of the recruitment process and takes place as part of the Assessment Centre!

    We will invite you to come in for an interview with a Partner from the business division you applied to. As this is a two-way process, please come prepared with questions and have conducted research on the role and the firm.
